Clarisonic MIA2 & Philosophy On a Clear Day Skin System

In my quest for a flawless canvas I have been researching several skincare products and tools on-line for the last few weeks.  So today I ended my research and finally went to Sephora and did a mini skin care haul (but spent major haul bucks) and purchased the items for the regiment that I HOPE will work best for my extremely oily acne prone skin.  My acne comes and goes and I am not as religious as I should be with a skin care routine. I’m really lazy with taking my makeup off on late nights…. I know, shame on the makeup artist… lol Some weeks my skin has one or two blemishes, other weeks there are none, and some weeks like this week I have a lot of active breakouts. Regardless of a breakout or not my skin is always extremely oily, and I have larger pores on my cheek areas. So with this system I have put together I hope that I can start to gain some consistent control of my problem skin.

My big purchase was the Sephora Limited Edition Moisturizing Clarisonic Mia 2 gift set in pink. It was $149.00 and came with 1.69 fl. oz. jar of Sephora Collection Instant Moisturizer.  The cleansing system comes with the Sensitive skin brush head so I purchased an additional Clairsonic Deep Pore Cleansing brush-head which was $25.00.  I had been eyeing the system for the past year and finally broke down and purchased one. I had been instructed by my dermatologist a while back to use only white washcloths on my face and to use a new one every single day. That ended up being a lot of washcloths and a lot of laundry so to eliminate that all together I thought that this would be a perfect alternative.
Inside the box there was the Mia 2, a compact pLink International charger, sensitive brush head, protective travel case, the Sephora Collection Instant Moisturizer, and a 1 oz. trial size Clarisonic Refreshing Gel Cleanser.

Last but not least I purchased the Philosophy On a Clear Day Skin System to use with my Mia 2 for $65.00. While doing my research I saw that some MIA 2 systems came with the Philosophy Purity Cleanser, and I had been interested in trying the Philosophy products for a while so I purchased a system with products that seem more suited for my skin type.  The system came with full-size products, which would have been more had I purchased them individually.
This system is made for acne prone skin and features four products:
-       6.0 oz Oil-Free Foaming Acne Cleanser
-       1.0 oz Oil-Free All Over Acne Treatment
-       0.5 oz Oil-Free Acne Spot Treatment
-       0.75 oz Retinol Clarifying Lotion

I am really excited about my purchase today and can’t wait to see what kind of results I will achieve. Check back tomorrow evening for a first use review video of all my products and what I think about them!!!

Peace, Love, & Lipstick!!!

All products discussed in this post were paid for with my own money and I was not paid to do these reviews.
